The first thing we need to do is to create new, unique pages. To do this, you will use a four digit code in each page name.
This year, 2011, everyone's group name begins with the number 11. (1101,1102, etc.)
  1. Notice that Group 01's page is called 1101home. It uses the four digit code before the title, home.
  2. All of the sub pages that your group makes will be titled 11## page name, like 1101part2 or 1101townpoem.
  3. To receive proper credit for individual work, use the font color provided in the chart below.

  1. When you are ready to make a new wiki page, find the icon on the top task bar that says New Page and click on it (once you have been approved, refresh the page and Join this Wiki turns into New Page).
  2. Name all pages by using a unique, four digit group name. This will be assigned to you for each project.
  3. To create the page, click edit, place some content on the new wiki page and click on save. It's that simple.
  4. Use the history icon to retrieve previous drafts. Notice that your work is all documented by time and date, so you receive credit for only the work that you do, not for the work of others.
  5. Use the discussion icon to collaborate and communicate to your partners when you aren't physically together. Part of your grade on this project will be to assess the process of working with a team towards an end result. The discussions you have can help you figure out any problems with the project your team may encounter.
  6. Feel free to add images, embedded code from videos, music, etc, arrange the work in tables, and more.
  7. To the project.
